So What's the Big Deal?
No registration, sponsored listings, targeted ads, privacy issues

No registration - what is registration for anyway?  Always struck us as a way to collect data about you.  We don't do that.  We don't care what you are looking to find (and we don't accept adult-oriented material anyway) and have no way to track whatever that might be.

No sponsored listings - so a business pays megabucks for search engine optimization that gets it to the first page of the search results, but sponsored listings are still more prominently displayed?  Huh?  We don't do that, either.  Users get to sort their search results how they see fit, and if they don't sort, it is the oldest listing first, not the one that has paid more.

No regional limitations - anyone anywhere in the world can access your listing so you can reach out worldwide, nationally, regionally, city-wide or hyper-locally.

No targeted ads - they're creepy.  You take a look at something out of idle curiosity and the next thing you know, ads for it are following you around like a lost puppy.  Ick.  Another thing we do not do.  Can't, actually - because no one here is tracking your searches . . . .

No privacy issues - there; that's our privacy policy.  There are no issues.  If you are a looker, looking to find something, we know nothing about you.  Nothing, nada, zip.  Nor do we want to.  If you are a lister, we know what you tell us about the listing and keep that - duh - but we do not keep your contact or billing information once the money is in the bank.
